10 years ago, my life was falling apart but you would know it because I was on my A-Game climbing the corporate ladder of success, my children were cookie-cutter perfect, my first husband and I were regular church-goers… oh… AND we got extra brownie points for being volunteers there too.
A jolt, slip and fall, thud, aha, dust-yourself-off later, I was blessed to turn my mess into a message, working as a mental health clinician.
I love making a difference in people’s lives through serving, but I got to a point where I had to decide if I was going to keep on treating symptoms or start solving problems….
When I finally got the courage to leave my job and the career as a therapist I had worked so many years to build it didn’t matter who believed in me, didn’t believe, made fun of or scrutinized me.

If you are curious to know where my inspiration for the Momentum Woman Society comes from, the woman in the picture (my mom) is that inspiration.
I watched my mother for sixteen years endure physical and emotional abuse; a life that no woman should ever go through, but she endured it for her children.
For years she told me I could do anything, but I didn’t believe her until the day I watched her stand in her uncompromised identity and be that BE that example.
I believe that when women know their potential and aren’t afraid to step into it, they can move mountains.
